VDE RoHS/ WEE Conformity Certification Services
With the directive 2002/95/EC of 27 January 2003 for the restriction of the use of certain substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS), Substance bans came into effect as 1 July 2006 for electrical and electronic equipment newly put on the market.
In the whole of Europe ( in Germany through the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act), it is legally prohibited to put on the market equipment and the components used therein if they contain certain substances.
With Partnership with the VDE authorized Offices in China, TPA provides services and consultancy on the following RoHS Conformity Services:
Evaluation of the manufacturer’s documentation ( Level 1)
Verification of the records for RoHS conformity within the supply chain ( i.e manufacturer’s declaration, quality assurance agreements, analytical results, terms and conditions) and the issue of a final declaration of compliance.
Product Testing / Analysis ( Level 2)
Analysis of components and equipment with annual conformity monitoring and issue of a statement of conformity for your product
Product Testing / Analysis with conformity surveillance ( Level 3)
Analysis of components and appliances with annual conformity surveillance and the issuing of a RoHS Certificate for your product with the use of the VDE RoHS label
Product assessment report for recycling capacity ( WEEE)
VDE can offer the possibility of examination of your products resulting in product assessment report as proof of the recyling capacity according to WEEE directive ( Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), which also have been implemented in the Electronic Equipment Act ( abbreviated as ElektroG) for Germany and which came into force on the 24 March 2006
Assessment according to the IECQ procedure (QC 80000 Hazardous Substance Process Management)
VDE or any appointed Certification Body will assess the management processes concerning the RoHS conformity according to IECQ regulations. If the requirements are met, VDE or an appointed Certification Body will confirm that a process management system for the avoidance of hazardous materials for the products produced or introduced into the market by issuing a CERTIFICATE of QC 80000 HSPM
TPA with the trained and qualified IECQ 80000 HSPM Lead assessor can help you in establishing the QC 80000 HSPM as well as training and pre-auditing prior the actual certification audit by VDE or any appointed Certification Body
Environment management System (EMS) ISO 14001
VDE or any appointed Certification Body can appraise the company processes and verify the documentation on RoHS conformity and issues the world recognized ISO 14001 EMS
